Recommended material combinations:
PETG + PETG, PETG + PVA, PETG + Breakaway.

PET CF (with carbon fiber filling) features the same reliable printing as PETG, but has increased stiffness, chemical resistance and temperature resistance (up to 180 °C after annealing). It is a suitable composite material for 3D printing in an industrial environment for functional prototypes and production aids.

Why bet on UltiMaker PET CF:

  • You can use PET CF in a wide range of applications emphasizing higher durability – from functional prototypes to production aids and spare parts.
  • Comes in multiple colors, easy to use and versatile. This makes it an ideal choice for composite printing on UltiMaker S series printers.
  • If you want to get the maximum properties of the material, you can anneal the part after pressing according to the manufacturer’s recommendations . You will increase mechanical properties (stiffness +10% and strength +30%) and temperature resistance (from HDT ~80 °C to HDT ~180 °C). Annealing transforms your PET CF print into a fully semi-crystalline state.

Recommended material combinations:

PET CF + PET CF, PET CF + PVA, PET CF + Breakaway.

  • Reduced moisture absorption compared to competing Nylons.
  • Easy to print.

Recommended material combinations:

Nylon + PVA, Nylon + Breakaway.

CPE (copolyester) materials are chemically resistant, strong, tough and dimensionally stable. In addition, CPE+ can handle temperatures up to 100 °C and has even higher impact resistance. The materials are suitable for mechanical parts and functional prototypes.

Why bet on UltiMaker CPE or CPE+:

  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Superior toughness and dimensional stability.
  • Good cohesion of the layers, especially when the printing chamber door is closed.
  • Low emissions of ultrafine particles and volatile organic compounds during printing.
  • Intended for small series production and functional parts.
  • It also includes a transparent design of the material.

Recommended material combinations:

CPE + CPE, CPE + PVA, CPE + Breakaway; CPE+ + Breakaway.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a globally popular, strong, impact-resistant, dimensionally stable material that can handle temperatures up to 85 °C. It is a good choice for complex parts and functional prototypes.

Why bet on UltiMaker ABS:

  • Excellent mechanical properties.
  • Excellent cohesion of the layers, especially when the printing chamber door is closed.
  • Resistance to temperatures up to 85 °C.
  • Designed for strength prototypes and functional parts.
  • It allows achieving better aesthetic results than competing ABS.
  • Developed with the aim of minimal twisting and the best possible adhesion to the mat.

Recommended material combinations:

ABS + ABS, ABS + Breakaway.

PC (polycarbonate) makes it possible to print solid and durable parts that maintain dimensional stability at temperatures up to 110 °C. The material is suitable, for example, for molds, tools, functional prototypes and small series production.

Why choose UltiMaker PC:
